Miriam Bier
Bier is lecturer in Old Testament at London School of Theology. Her research interests include the book of Lamentations, theological hermeneutics, evangelical feminist hermeneutics, and Daughter Zion in the Old Testament. Her 2012 doctoral dissertation was entitled “‘Perhaps There Is Hope’: Reading Lamentations as a Polyphony of Pain, Penitence, and Protest.” She is the co-editor of Spiritual Complaint: The Theology and Practice of Lament (Eugene, OR: Pickwick, 2013).
